Miguel Dumaual, ABS-CBN News</figcaption></figure></div>MANILA — (UPDATED) After a month-long run and a series of international screenings, the Vice Ganda starrer “Fantastica” has set a new record for the comedian’s yearly big-screen outings in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).During a thanksgiving dinner on Tuesday celebrating “Fantastica’s” success, co-producer Star Cinema announced that the festival favorite was now the “highest grossing Vice Ganda movie.”With its P596-million worldwide take, “Fantastica” has surpassed Vice Ganda’s previous MMFF entry, “Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad,” which totaled P571 million after its run.Vice Ganda’s box-office best, overall, remains “The Super Parental Guardians” with Coco Martin, which earned P598 million after a five-week run in 2016.
