‘Welcome lahat kayo’: Sylvia Sanchez wants to have a word with Arjo’s bashers

Put this on a list of things not to do online: Bashing Arjo Atayde.

Unless one would want to experience the wrath of Sylvia Sanchez, who went on to dare those accusing his son of lying about dating Maine Mendoza to meet her for coffee.

Sanchez put up her invitation to talk it out with Atayde's bashers on Twitter, writing, unedited: "Welcome bukas lahat kayo pumunta sila at mas lalong welcome ang mga bashers!!! Usap tayo!!"

Her spat with Mendoza's fans began when she replied to one who supposedly insulted her, Atayde, and the rest of their family.

This led to others chiming in and claiming that anyone would have been hurt by the lie Atayde supposedly made.

It remains unclear what this lie is, although some reports pointed that it could be pertaining to an episode of "Gandang Gabi Vice," wherein Atayde denied being in a relationship with Mendoza.

In it, Atayde took a lie-detector test and was said to have lied when he answered "no" when asked if he and Mendoza were dating.

A couple of days later, Atayde acknowledged that he and Mendoza are indeed "exclusively dating."

Sanchez revealed in her tirade that she and her family have been on the receiving end of death threats because of the controversy.

This, she said, has put her on edge when it comes to the harsh criticism thrown at her son. Below are screenshots of her tweets:
