K-pop superstar Psy returning to Manila

K-pop sensation Psy is returning to Manila. 

The South Korean superstar behind the hit "Gangnam Style" will be headlining the lineup of artists slated to perform at the "Global Peace Concert One K," scheduled on March 2 at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. 

Psy will share the stage with other popular K-pop acts such as SHINee, CNBLUE, B1A4, B.A.P, BTOB, and AOA. 

Ticket prices begin at P1,500. It will be available through SM Tickets, who told ABS-CBN News that an exact release date for the tickets has yet to be finalized. A pre-sale will be held on January 29, with details expected to be announced soon. 


The event is produced by All Access Productions in cooperation with One K Media Group, KBS Media, and 9ENT. 

It is part of the "One K Concert Global Tour," which, according to its website, aims to showcase popular K-pop artists in a display of global commitment to the peaceful reunification of the Korean people and global peace. 

Psy, who set off a global sensation with "Gangnam Style," a song that poked fun at the quest for material wealth and status epitomized by Seoul's tony Gangnam district, last performed in the country in 2013.
