MANILA – Xian Lim has already started filming for “Miss Granny” three days since he inked a contract with Viva Artists Agency.
On Instagram, the actor shared photos showing his character in the Filipino adaptation of the Korean film, which stars Sarah Geronimo and James Reid.
After his contract signing with Viva, Lim said he considers it a privilege to be able to work with Geronimo.
“Nakakatuwa na I was given an opportunity to work with Sarah and James in their upcoming movie. I’m very excited kasi even before, a couple of years back, kapag tinatanong ako, ‘Sino bang gusto mong makapareha?’ I mean, to be able to work with Sarah is already a very huge blessing,” he said.
While they are used to greeting each other every time they cross paths along the hallways of ABS-CBN, Lim said it is a different experience to work with Geronimo and Reid.
“Miss Granny” is directed by Joyce Bernal.
In the original South Korean movie, a woman in her 70s finds herself in the body of her 20-year-old self (played by Shim Eun-Kyun).
