Less than a month after their relationship was revealed to the public, South Korean pop idols Jennie Kim of Blackpink and Kai of EXO have broken up, a report from K-pop website Soompi said.
According to the Soompi report, Kai's agency, SM Entertainment, confirmed the breakup but did not reveal when or why.
As of writing, Jennie's agency, YG Entertainment, has yet to release a statement.
South Korean media outlet Dispatch revealed the relationship on January 1 after publishing photos of Jennie, 23, and Kai, 25, on a date in Seoul last November.

Kai, whose real name is Kim Jong-in, debuted under EXO in 2012 while Jennie debuted under Blackpink in 2016.
Blackpink, known for its hit songs "As If It's Your Last" and "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du," is set to hold a concert at the Mall of Asia Arena on February 2 as part of their world tour.
