MANILA — Kim Chiu is the mistress and Yam Concepcion is the legal wife in ABS-CBN’s latest afternoon drama “Love Thy Woman.”

In the trailer of the Dreamscape production released Thursday, half-sisters Jia (Chiu) and Dana (Concepcion) become bitter rivals over one man.

Jia finds herself having a deeper relationship with David, the husband of Dana, as the latter lies comatose due to a road crash just after their wedding.

Their complicated ties are a case of history repeating itself, as Jia’s mom (Sunshine Cruz) was similarly the mistress of Adam Wong (Christopher de Leon).

Adam is the shared father of Jia and Dana, whose mother (Eula Valdez) is Adam’s legal wife.

Aside from its lead actors, “Love Thy Woman” boasts a star-studded cast that also includes Zsa Zsa Padilla and Ruffa Gutierrez.

“Love Thy Woman” — directed by Jeffrey Jeturian, Jerry Lopez Sineneng, and Andoy Ranay — will join ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold lineup starting February.
