MANILA – Dingdong Dantes has revealed that he and almost all members of their household contracted COVID-19.

In a Facebook video he posted on Sunday, Dantes narrated what happened to him and his family in the last two weeks when the illness finally hit their home.

Thankfully after that, naging okay naman yung pakiramdam ko. Yung expected lang na sasakit siya kinabukasan pero after that, the day after, okay na siya talaga,” he said.

They confirmed that they caught the virus after having themselves tested.

Upon learning of the results, Dantes said they all isolated at home.

Dantes also thanked the Office of the Vice President and Vice President Leni Robredo herself for the care package their family received.

At the end of his video, Dantes reminded everyone not to be ashamed if they also contract COVID-19.

Kaya dapat doble kayod pa rin tayo lahat na masigurong makapagpabakuna, makapagpa-booster shot,” he said.

As of writing, Dantes is already on his 10th day of isolation and he is set to return to work on Monday.

The actor did not mention specifically if his wife Marian Rivera and their two kids Zia and Sixto also got sick of the virus.
