MANILA -- Angel Locsin surprised her followers with her new short hairdo.

What wasn't so unexpected was to see the actress's curvy form as she took to the pool in a two-piece bikini.

Locsin and her long-time friend Bubbles Paraiso spent the weekend at a resort in Lipa City, Batangas.

"This girl right here is the only one happy that I got an injury -- because it meant she could kidnap me for the weekend without worrying about missing my training," Paraiso said.

Locsin has been quite active lately, hiking different mountains both here and abroad.
