Actress Isabelle Daza said she's ready to settle down with her long-time French boyfriend Adrien Semblat.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News and other reporters on Friday after a press conference on ABS-CBN's upcoming soap, "Tubig at Langis," which will debut on February 1, Daza said she's hoping the engagement and wedding will happen this year.

"Hopefully, this year it will happen. Both or ang engagement," said Daza, adding she doesn't mind if the engagement will be here or abroad.

Pressed if she's really ready to walk down the aisle this 2016, Daza replied: "Huwag naman (sa) May (kasi) may work pa ako, 'Tubig at Langis' muna."

The actress also explained the kind of wedding she wants. "If in the future, siguro intimate," Daza said.

Aside from the engagement and the wedding, she's hoping that her mother, the country's first Miss Universe Gloria Diaz, will also be ready when she walks down the aisle.

"I hope so, kawawa naman yung boyfriend ko kung, if ano, if he will have to ask my mom," Daza said.

In her guesting on "KrisTV" on Monday, Daza was caught off-guard when she was grilled about her rumored engagement with Semblat.
