MANILA -- Eight years after she revealed that she has a love child with a former boyfriend, former sexy actress Aubrey Miles on Wednesday introduced her son, John Maurie Obligacion, to the public.

Appearing on "Magandang Buhay," the high school student shared how proud he is to have a mother like Miles.

"Well, (she's) strict in school. Really, really friendly. Good mother, really, really a good mother. Always there in everything I do," Maurie said.

"I'm really proud of her. She's like an idol to me," he added.

As for Miles's long-time partner Troy Montero, Maurie said he is a real father for him.

"He knows how to take care of me, always there for me, supportive. Of course, I have my real dad but he treats me really well which I really appreciate. He's like a real dad to us. We are really close," Maurie shared.

Maurie is Miles's son with ex-boyfriend JP Obligacion.

Meanwhile, Miles also shared her son's dream to join show business. Currently, the teen is taking up acting workshops.
