MANILA – Not even a broken leg is going to stop Grammy-nominated singer Lea Salonga.

In a video she posted Wednesday, Salonga said she broke her leg while skiing in Hokkaido, Japan with her family.

“I broke my leg on a slope. Clearly, I have not learned the art of stopping so I crashed pretty hard and I broke my tibia,” she said.

Salonga told her fans that they have nothing to worry about because she is doing fine and that none of her concerts will be canceled due to the accident.

“That doesn’t mean that the concerts aren’t pushing through. This is just to let you know I am okay, I can sing and I will see you in Hong Kong, in Singapore, in the UK sitting down more than I normally would,” she said.

Aside from the upcoming concerts she mentioned, Salonga will also be joining Josh Groban in his post Valentine Manila concert on February 22.
