MANILA – Maja Salvador still has time for love despite her busy schedule due to her series “Wildflower” and her upcoming concert.

Without hesitations, Salvador admitted that she is currently dating a guy who has been her friend since high school.

“Kabarkada ko naman 'yun. High school friend, high school classmate. Non-showbiz," she was quoted to have said in a PEP article.

Salvador said it helps that they have known each other for a long time.

“Iba 'yung foundation. 'Yung friendship buong-buo. Kung anong nangyayari sa mundo niya, nangyayari sa mundo ko. Maraming napag-uusapan. Fifteen years na magkaibigan, so kabisado namin ang isa’t isa,” she said.

The actress also shared that the guy, who she refused to name, doesn’t have any problem with her being a celebrity.

“Busy lang din siya. Magkaibigan kami kaya sanay na 'yun,” she said.

As to how they are dealing with their schedules, Salvador said: “May cellphone naman po, text text na lang, bisibisita. Kaya po iyan. Basta masugid, push.”

Salvador’s last public relationship was with actor Gerald Anderson. They broke up two years ago.
