MANILA - An upcoming Pixar short film will feature Filipino-American characters.

This is what director Bobby Rubio announced on his personal social media accounts on Friday.

Rubio, an artist and filmmaker, is one of the directors whose works are part of Pixar's SparkShorts.

His film, "Float," will feature Filipino-American characters.
