Bassist Tom Naval leaves Tom’s Story, cites ‘personal reasons’

Bassist Tom Naval has left Tom's Story. 

Naval, one of the founding members of the indie act, explained in a farewell post uploaded on Facebook on Thursday for their fans that he decided to leave because of "personal reasons." 

This was confirmed by the band's remaining members, who added that one of those reasons was a "serious incident involving [Naval] and another person which they have decided to settle privately." 

Specifics were not given but the statement included a brief part about facing consequences for one's actions. 

Naval's exit was later announced by the trio's label, A Spur of the Moment Project, which interestingly also condemned "behavior that displays any form of sexual misconduct." 

Tom's Story, best known for their post-rock sound and hits such as "Anchor," will continue with guitarist Gabba Santiago and drummer Degs de Guia.
