MANILA - Gabriel Valenciano inspired his social media followers when he revealed Wednesday how he overcame “the darkest and most painful" time of his life which happened early last year.

Without giving too much details, Valenciano shared on Facebook that he hit rock bottom early in 2018 when he “kept in so much that one day, I imploded and tried to hurt myself to numb myself of the pain, disappointment, uncertainty, doubt and fear.”

Despite that, he told his followers that no matter the circumstances, “there will always be hope and that you are not alone.”

“The light at the end of the tunnel will keep shining, you just need to keep walking towards it,” he said.

“God bless you all and I hope and pray that when you feel like giving up, don’t. Surround yourself with people who genuinely care for you. Life will forever be a continuous struggle, find people to struggle strong with. Stop surviving and start living,” he added.

Valenciano then went on to thank the people who stood by his side during that dark time particularly his family and closest friends.

“I am extremely blessed to have you all in my life,” he said.

Valenciano is the son of Gary Valeciano and Angeli Pangilinan.
