"We also urge the heads of the departments and agencies to distribute immediately the salary differential since 'yung increase po is retroactive starting January of this year," DBM Secretary Amenah Pangandaman said.

The salary increase comes after President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. signed on August 2 Executive Order No. 64, approving the Salary Standardization Law VI (salary increase) for all civilian government personnel.

Pangandaman also ordered the creation of the Salary Standardization Law VI (SSL VI) dashboard, which is designed to provide real-time data on the budget releases for easier monitoring and effective oversight.

The dashboard is now available on the DBM's website at https://www.dbm.gov.ph/.
