Around 200 cable operators to continue carrying ANC nationwide

MANILA (UPDATED) -- Some 200 cable operators will continue carrying ANC, the ABS-CBN News Channel, after SkyCable ends its operations. 

ABS-CBN earlier said that ANC programs would stay on air through partner cable TV providers nationwide, even after Sky Cable's broadcast on cable TV signs off on February 26, 2024.

ANC programs will also be on iWantTFC, The Filipino Channel, and Converge's VISION.

The Philippine Competition Commission has allowed the sale of Sky Cable’s broadband business and related assets to PLDT Inc., ABS CBN Corp. earlier said.

Sky Cable said pursuant to the closing conditions of the PLDT-Sky Cable acquisition deal, the latter will begin its transition into a dedicated internet service provider.
