Meantime, Marcos Jr. also encouraged Southeast Asian leaders to “adopt sustainable agricultural practices to optimize our food systems” in the midst of “supply chain disruptions, economic shocks, and the increasing intensity of extreme weather events such as El Niño and La Niña.”
