MANILA – Jollibee Foods Corp on Monday said it would open Jollibee’s 1,200th store in the country along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) on Dec. 18, equipped with the Philippines' first dual-lane drive thru.

The new store located at a Petron gas station along the southbound side of SLEX has a dual-lane drive thru that will allow the crew to serve more motorists faster, Jollibee said in a statement.

“This new Level Up Joy store promises to take customer convenience to the next level with the introduction of the first-ever dual-lane drive thru in the country," Jollibee Global Brand CMO, JFC Philippines Country Business Group and concurrent Jollibee Philippines Marketing head Francis Flores said.

The latest “Level Up Joy” store offers modern innovations such as an automated food conveyor system that brings meals from the kitchen to the pick-up counters.

The new store also features self-order kiosks with multiple payment options for flexibility, including credit cards, PayMaya, Happy Plus Card or even cash, Jollibee said.

Some tables have wireless charging pads for customers who want to power up their devices.

A drive-thru-lane sensor system, meanwhile, provides real-time drive thru performance data. At least 200 Jollibee stores nationwide are equipped with the system.

The "Level Up Store" is the start of a new era for Jollibee, Jollibee Philippines president JJ Alano earlier said.
