MANILA - The jeepney minimum fare will go back to P9 from P10 in Metro Manila, Region 3, and Region 4, regulators said on Monday following recent fuel price cuts.
The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) said jeepney drivers and operators will not be required to secure a fare matrix before implementing the rollback because the order is provisional.
The order is effective immediately after publication in newspapers of general and local circulation, the LTFRB said.
