MANILA -- Rizal Commercial Banking Corp said Wednesday clients could exchange their pesos or buy foreign currencies through its online platform to avoid long queues.

Through www.rcbconlinebanking.com, frequent travelers can secure the following currencies ahead of time: US dollar, euro, pound, yen, Singaporean dollar, Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, Hong Kong dollar, Swiss franc and Chinese yuan, RCBC said in a statement.

The pre-ordered notes can be picked up at any RCBC branch, the bank said, adding it was the first Filipino lender to offer foreign exchange services online.

The country's tenth largest bank by assets also said clients could place their foreign currencies in a 90-day time deposit.
