MANILA - Philippine Airlines on Friday said it was expanding its Thailand network through a code-share deal with Bangkok Airways.

The agreement, which takes effect on Oct. 28, will connect PAL passengers flying to Bangkok from Manila "seamlessly" using Bangkok Airways' flights to Chiang Mai through the Suvarnabhumi Airport, PAL said in a statement.
