MANILA - A second De La Salle Santiago Zobel School (DLSZ) campus is set to rise in Imus, Cavite.
DLSZ has signed a contract with Ayala Land Inc. to develop the extension campus within Ayala's 700-hectare mixed-use development project Vermosa along Daang Hari road.
Ayala Land donated the land and seed money to fund the construction of the school building.
The DLSZ-Vermosa campus is expected to open by the start of Academic Year 2016-2017. The first DLSZ campus is located inside Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa.
DLSZ is a member of the De La Salle Philippines, a new district-wide network of 17 Lasallian schools in the country.
The Vermosa mixed-use project is envisioned as the "future of the south," offering mixed-use components such as horizontal residential options, offices, hotels, and entertainment facilities.
The estate will house the Vermosa Sports and Lifestyle Complex, which is poised to be serve as a training facility for DLSZ athletes.
