Seniors get free rides on LRT-2 Monday

MANILA - The Light Rail Transit Line 2 said it was offering free rides to senior citizens on Monday to mark "Elderly Filipino Week."

Senior citizens need to present their government-issued IDs to avail of the free rides from 4:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., the Light Rail Transit Authority said on its Twitter account.

The government also recently implemented 20-percent discounts for senior citizens who book flights online.
