MANILA -- Cebu Pacific said Wednesday it was increasing flights to and from Clark by 75 percent to help build up the former US airbase as a transportation hub.

The country's largest airline said it would increase flights between Clark and Macau to 14 times a week from 8. It will also add one more daily flight between Clark and Cebu starting Oct. 28.

From Nov. 9, Cebu Pacific will also fly from Clark to Tagbilaran and Davao.

The new routes and additional frequencies will bring the total number of Cebu Pacific flights in and out of Clark to 3,711 by the end of the year, accounting for 620,540 seats, the airline said.
