MANILA - The Light Rail Transit Authority said Wednesday the LRT-2 line would end trips early from July 27 until Aug. 2 to give way to the installation of new power cables.
The LRT2 line will close at 7:30 p.m. on both Eastbound and Westbound directions to give way to the installation of new power cables between Pureza and Legarda stations, its operator said.
Train lines in the capital have been operating at limited capacity to protect commuters from contracting COVID-19.
Normal schedule will resume on Aug. 3, the LRTA said.
