MANILA, Philippines - Pancake House Inc. is changing its corporate name to Max's Group Inc., after the merger of the two restaurant groups.
In a disclosure to the stock exchange, listed restaurant chain Pancake House said the board of directors have approved the change of the company's name to Max's Group Inc.
The company's trading symbol at the Philippine Stock Exchange will also be changed to "MAXS".
The merger of Pancake House and Max's Group has created the country's largest casual dining group.
Among the group's brands include Max's Restaurant, Max's Corner Bakery, Krispy Kreme, Jamba Juice, Pancake House, Yellow Cab, Le Coeur De France, Dencio's, Teriyaki Boy, Singkit, Sizzling Pepper Steak, Kabisera, the Chicken Rice Shop, and Maple.
