MANILA - Globe Telecom is embarking on its first foray into content creation with "Globe Studios", which will produce original movies and series to meet growing demand for mobile entertainment.

Backed by Viva Films, Reality Entertainment, Quantum Films, Spring Films and Astro of Malaysia, Globe Studios will be the platform for new content from top directors such as Erik Matti, Paul Soriano, Quark Henares, Dan Villegas, Sigrid Bernardo, Joyce Bernal, and Lav Diaz.
