MANILA- Quarantine passes are still required in all areas under modified and general community quarantine, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) said Wednesday.

The passes are necessary since movement remains limited in all areas under community quarantine, even in those with fewer restrictions, DILG Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya said.

Some local government units initially issued one quarantine pass per household to minimize the number of people going out of their homes.

"Quarantine Pass will still apply [because] limited movement pa din except for those going to work or those accessing essential services so their quarantine passes will have to be amended to conform to the new guidelines," Malaya told ABS-CBN News.
