MANILA - San Miguel Corp said Tuesday it doubled the production of its popular nutribun to serve more communities during the coronavirus lockdown.
MANILA - San Miguel Corp said Tuesday it doubled the production of its popular nutribun to serve more communities during the coronavirus lockdown.
Its unit San Miguel Foods Inc is now producing 24,000 pieces daily from 10,000 buns per day previously, SMC said in a statement.
"What we hope to do is reach as many vulnerable families as possible and help make sure they do not go hungry. Apart from our food donations, our version of the ‘nutribun’ is another way for us to keep our citizens healthy and nourished,” SMC president and COO Ramon S. Ang said.
