MANILA - The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp said Tuesday it transferred another P6 billion to the Office of the President for the country's COVID-19 response.

PAGCOR has also been donating food packs, personal protective equipment and other medical essential to frontliners, said its chairman and CEO Andrea Domingo.

“Despite experiencing losses due to the suspension of operations of our owned and licensed gaming facilities for almost a month now, we are doing our best to provide much-needed help to the government during this time of crisis,” Domingo said.

The entire Luzon island is under lockdown until April 30 to contain the spread of COVID-19.
