'Kakanin' business helps woman send kids to college

MANILA – A woman was able to send her children to college because of her ''kakanin'' business.

Speaking to dzMM's Radyo Negosyo, Adelia said she was able to send her two children to University of Santo Tomas and Mapua Institute of Technology.

She said her two children now work as chemist and civil engineer in Canada.

Adelia said her most famous product is Puto Leche Flan, which she said is always being copied by her competitors.

Adelia, now 70, said she started her business at the age of 14. She is now being helped by her two other children in the business.
