This is the third consecutive year that Asia’s 50 Best bestowed Toyo Eatery with a spot. It was 43rd in 2019 and 44th last year. The restaurant is located at The Alley at Karrivin Plaza in Pasong Tamo, Makati City. Opening its doors in 2016, the restaurant has consistently impressed both local and foreign diners with its no nonsense approach to service and its imaginative food. One of its famous dishes is called “Bahay Kubo” which gathers all the vegetables from the eponymous Filipino song in one delicious dish that looks like a potted plant.

Meanwhile, the restaurant that took this year’s #1 spot is The Chairman in Hongkong.
