Here’s where to source fresh vegetables, fruits, and poultry direct from local farmers

In these difficult times, with many wet markets and supermarkets running low on supplies, Metro Manila citizens are forced to look for other sources of fresh fruits, vegetables, poultry, seafood, and meat. During this enhanced community quarantine, it’s even more important for us to reach out to farmers and support them in every way we can. It’s a win-win—we get a source of fresh produce, while at the same time help make our local agricultural sector more sustainable.

I am hoping that this call to action will help uplift our farmers’ current situation and strengthen their livelihood in one way or another. At the end of the day, we will all benefit if the agriculture sector becomes strong and vibrant again as it was before.
