'Self-care in new normal': Aesthetic clinic opens branch in QC amid pandemic
MANILA -- An aesthetic clinic recently opened a new branch in Quezon City as it encourages self-care and wellness in the "new normal" caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Located along Sgt. Esguerra Avenue in South Triangle, Avignon Clinic's newly inaugurated flagship clinic features French minimalist interiors and a hotel-like ambiance.
The 250-square-meter space offers treatments that help skin recover its elasticity, make a person look younger through contouring and lifting, define one's jawline, sculpt specific parts of the body, and address different types of acne problems, among others.
Julia Montes graced the opening of the new facility as Avignon Clinic's newest celebrity endorser, joining the likes of Sam Milby, Kyle Echarri, and Nicole Cordoves, among others.
"After being on a lockdown for months, we feel it is the best time for people to focus on self-care and wellness and to move forward in the new normal. This is our flagship clinic and we are really making sure to give only the best service for our customers while following strict protocols to ensure that the clinic is a safe space for everyone," said Avignon Clinic president Benedict Sy.
Avignon Clinic assured the public that it implements safety protocols to protect its client and staff from COVID-19. Among these are the setting of appointments and pre-screening of clients via phone call to limit the number of people in the clinic, and the use of level 4 personal protective equipment (PPE) of all medical and aesthetic staff members.
It said clients are also provided with a PPE at no extra cost, with physical distancing measures, sanitation stations, thermal scans, and foot baths in place to help prevent the spread of the virus.
The clinic's suites, meanwhile, have UVC sterilizers, 8-stage air purifiers with HEPA filters, negative exhaust ventilation, and vacuum features.
Aside from Quezon City, Avignon Clinic also has a branch at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
