Young go-getters strive for greatness, for perfection, but they will not be able to figure everything out right away. With the tips and the words of wisdom of those who have come before them, though, they can start figuring out a lot of the important things.

"It may be cliché, but you have to keep hearing this: find out what you really want in life. If you haven’t found it yet, don’t settle and keep looking. It’s most probably the thing that takes up a lot of your time or that one thing that occupies your mind the most. Figure it out and the rest will follow—your dream job, the life you’ve always wanted, etc.” – Jason, 32

“We all know how important it is to save. Kahit magkano pa yung sweldo mo, you should get into the habit as soon as possible. But more than that, invest it in something that would allow it to grow, like a mutual fund. Another thing that we need to be reminded of from time to time: live within your means. Better yet, live a little bit below it. Your older self will thank your younger self later on by doing so.” – Ivan, 31

"Not all relationships are built the same, which is why it’s tough to give very specific advice. But generally, when you run into issues with your partner, work through them. Talk it over and explain your side in a constructive manner. State how you feel instead of blaming and hateful words, and your partner will be in a better position to understand you. However, if you believe your relationship isn’t worth saving anymore, move on sooner rather than later. Mahirap, but at least you’ll be able to start anew earlier with someone who may be end up becoming the one for you. This is what happened to me, at least." – Rod, 32

“When you’re young and at the peak of your physical prowess, you kind of take your health for granted. Back then, I didn’t exercise as much and didn’t watch what I eat. But once I started feeling the effects of my poor decisions, I started becoming more mindful of my health. Don’t make the same mistakes that I did. Start being more conscious about your health earlier. If you don’t have time for a bit of cardio, then make time for it—there’s probably nothing more important than taking care of yourself.” – Ben, 34

“I’m not vain or anything kaya before, I thought ok na talaga ang soap. But the stress and the years pile up, and it’ll eventually show up on your face if you don’t do something about it. I looked haggard most of the time, and it didn’t help when I had a meeting or a date after work. I learned from some of my colleagues that they use products like Pond’s Men Facial Wash to keep them looking energized after a haggard day. While I started using it just lately, I’ve noticed the changes immediately. My face looks (and even feels) fresher after applying it. It’s really great to have. My advice to you guys is to build the habit of taking care of your skin earlier on.” – Daniel, 30

It’s smart to consider the words of the guys who’ve been through a lot. And as they looked back, the guys hope that their advice would help twenty-something go-getters change your life for the better and achieve their goals in life sooner rather than later.
