While black and gold are good smartphone colors, red has a unique appeal.

Last week, OPPO Philippines Public Relations Manager Eason de Guzman Jr. introduced the brand's newest phone, the limited-edition F5 6GB.

De Guzman unveiled the phone, which comes with 6GB of memory and 64GB storage, during #NationalSelfieDay on Nov. 30 at Enchanted Kingdom.

Designed with artificial intelligence technology, the phone is capable of setting the best camera options to ensure that photos are of the best quality.

Using this technology, the phone's 20-megapixel front camera aims to "capture the real you", while the 16-megapixel rear camera is capable of taking high-definition photos of sceneries and people.

This attention to camera technology and photo quality, De Guzman said, is because OPPO takes time to listen to what its customers want.

"We understand our customers. We understand their demands. And what's their demand? It's always taking the best selfie experience," he said.

The F5 comes with a 6-inch, full high-definition display screen. The phone also has a narrow frame, sleek body surface, and curved exteriors.

The OPPO F5 6GB is available for order, and is priced at P21,990.

OPPO F5 buyers will also get an Olike bluetooth speaker, valued at P2,900, for free.

For the selfie addicts, you can also buy the black and gold variants of the OPPO F5 in Lazada for only Php 15,990.
