As part of Sourcefit's carbon footprint reduction efforts, the company launched a tree-planting partnership with the Haribon Foundation in 2022 under the Soilmate Project.<br/> <br/>This year, the company partnered with <em>ABS-CBN Foundation Bantay Kalikasan</em> to help green up the La Mesa Nature Reserve.<br/> <br/>The <a href='https://abscbnfoundation.org/pages/programs/environment-and-community/articles/save-la-mesa-watershed-and-eco-park'>La Mesa Watershed</a>, known as the "green lung" of Metro Manila, is one of the last remaining forests in the city. Adopt-a-seedling:</strong> By donating their resources, Sourcefit employees got the chance to be eco-heroes by adopting seedlings that they could dedicate to their loved ones. These seedlings will be nurtured and cared for by the La Mesa Nature Reserve until they grow into mature trees.<br/> <br/><strong>2. Plant-a-seedling:</strong> Sourcefit employees rolled up their sleeves and volunteered their time to join their management committee in planting seedlings at the La Mesa Nature Reserve. It started with volunteer orientation at La Mesa Nature Reserve, followed by a one-hour trek to the planting site. Volunteers had the chance to connect with nature, breathe in the fresh air, and immerse themselves in the lush surroundings while planting a total of eight hundred seedlings, including red and white Lawaan and Sandalwood varieties.<br/> <br/>The result?
