Since last March 19, 2020, Shawarma Shack has been continuously donating five thousand pieces of shawarmas daily. This noble act, led by Shawarma Shack founder Walther Buenavista together with some of their employees and volunteers, is said to continue until April or until the pandemic ends.

Frontliners from the Philippine General Hospital, San Lazaro Hospital, Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, National Capital Region Police Office, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Armed Forces of the Philippines, as well as those located at the Mindanao Avenue and Balintawak exit borders, and other nearby areas are the beneficiaries of this on-going relief operation.
