High-profile Bilibid inmate Herbert Colanggo explained the reason why he's often called the Chinese-sounding "Colangco" even though he has no Chinese blood.

According to Colanggo, people often call him "Colangco," which he said rhymes with the names of other convicts like Peter Co and Tony Co.

"Eh di Colangco, sige Chinese na rin ako," he said.

Colanggo is one of the resource persons in the ongoing House inquiry on the drug trade in the New Bilibid Prison (NBP).
