Former Tourism Secretary Wanda Teo on Tuesday referred to Enchanted River in Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur as "Enchanted Kingdom" at least twice during a Senate investigation.

Teo is facing a legislative inquiry over a P60-million tourism ad placement on her brother's television show, which state auditors flagged for supposed lack of contract and possible conflict of interest.

During the Senate hearing, Senator Richard Gordon questioned Teo over ads which showed tourist spots but failed to indicate their names and locations.

Teo, reacting to an ad that showed the Enchanted River, said: "Mayroon pong nakalagay, Enchanted Kingdom, Hinatuan."

Gordon then said the "Anak" ads should highlight more tourist spots and directions on how to get there, instead of Filipino traits that await tourists.

Teo said other destinations like Palawan, Cebu and Bohol are already popular and that the tourism department wanted to focus on less known areas like Hinatuan.

Gordon interjected, "I didn't see Hinatuan there," to which Teo replied "Mayroon po, Enchanted Kingdom -- Enchanted River po, Hinatuan."
