MANILA - Twelve Filipino firms are among Southeast Asian firms cited in the book ASEAN Champions: Emerging Stalwarts in Integration, which will be launched on Wednesday.

One of its authors, Asian Institute of Management associate professor for economics Jamil Paolo Francisco, discusses the challenges ahead for Filipino businessmen as ASEAN moves towards economic integration.

The 12 Filipino champions include: Meralco, Ayala Land, Jollibee Foods, Cebu Pacific, Aboitiz Power, SM Prime Holdings, Holcim Philippines, La Farge Republic, EEI Corp, Far Eastern University, Energy Development Corp and PLDT Inc. -- ANC, Market Edge with Cathy Yang, July 5, 2017
