A photo of a vegetable vendor has been making the rounds online, with netizens comparing the girl's physical features to those of actress Liza Soberano.

The original photo of the so-called "Gulay Girl" was first posted by Facebook page "Kami ang Batang Gapo."

The page posted another set of photos after their first post went viral.

The 12-year-old girl, identified only as "Marian," sells vegetables for a living. She lives in Gordon Heights in Olongapo City, and is the eldest of six children.

Despite her age, "Marian" is only in fourth grade.

Netizens compared her to Soberano, who is well known for her beauty, especially after being hailed as the Best Dressed celebrity at the recently-concluded Star Magic Ball.

The online popularity of Gulay Girl also reminded netizens of "Carrot Man" Jeyrick Sigmaton and "Badjao Girl" Rita Gabiola, who was one of the housemates of the current season of "Pinoy Big Brother."
