MANILA -- Kimerald fans turned nostalgic as Dreamscape Entertainment announced Monday that former real-life couple Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson will soon reunite on primetime series "Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin."

Chiu and Anderson were batchmates in the first edition of "Pinoy Big Brother" teens in 2006. Their tandem developed inside the big yellow house, wherein Chiu was eventually hailed as big winner during the big night. Anderson, meanwhile, placed third.

After "PBB," the Kimerald tandem continued to flourish as they starred several television and movie projects. They eventually became a couple.

In 2010, Kimerald starred in the movie "Till My Heartaches End," which premiered a few months after they announced their break-up. They last reunited in 2012 for Star Cinema's "24/7 in Love."

It is, thus, nostalgic for Kimerald fans to see their favorite on-screen tandem together once more. "KIMERALD is BACK" trended on Twitter for several hours after Dreamscape's announcement.
