MANILA - Whenever something big, like winning an arbitration case against a superpower, hits the internet, Filipino netizens never fail to make light of the situation.

While most Filipinos from all over the country celebrated as an international court backed the Philippines' arbitration case against China on Tuesday, some netizens took to Twitter to share their humorous ideas about #CHexit.

Twitter user "Jonaski" joked about boycotting a popular Chinese fast-food chain. The chain, however, is Filipino-owned.

Another Twitter user, Rage Gayondato, called out Filipinos who seem to be confused on who to support.

Blogger and activist Tonyo Cruz posted a photo of a fortune cookie, a popular Chinese concoction, with a rather ironic message.

Twitter user Malaysia Soberano shared a meme featuring the crown switching at the Miss Universe pageant between Miss Philippines and Miss Colombia, who became a stand-in for China.

Of course, no social media trolling is complete without the "hugot" lines.

Twitter users "Jasmine Ann" and "Okim" were able to relate the recent international ruling to their love lives (or lack thereof).
