Perfect run.

National University completed a tournament sweep Saturday after crushing the Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws, 25-22, 25-19, 19-25, 25-16, in Game 2 of the best-of-three championship series of the inaugural Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Conference Most Valuable Player Jaja Santiago was unstoppable as she led the Lady Bulldogs to the throne, NU’s third Collegiate Conference title after winning the defunct V-League’s last two editions in 2015 and 2016, in an unbeaten nine-game run.

Santiago had 22 points she collected from 19 attacks and three aces while Jorelle Singh and Aiko Urdas, who hammered the championship-clinching crosscourt kill, chipped in 11 and 10 markers, respectively, for NU.

Playmaker Jasmine Nabor, named Finals MVP, tallied 45 excellent sets in the Lady Bulldogs' 55 attacks while adding six points.

NU, who barely used Best Libero winner Gayle Valdez (sore left foot), submitted FEU, 25-22, 21-25, 25-18, 26-24, Wednesday in the series opener.

Jeannette Villareal and Czarina Carandang scored 10 points each while Toni Rose Basas had nine markers for the Lady Tams, who suffered another painful championship setback after Bernadeth Pons and Kyla Atienza who skipped the match also fell short in the 80th UAAP women's beach volleyball tournament earlier.
