MANILA, Philippines – Creamline and BanKo-Perlas pulled off hard-earned victories against separate foes on Saturday night in the very first staging of the "PVL on Tour" at the People's Gym in Tuguegarao.

The Cool Smashers, led by star setter Jia Morado, turned back Pocari Sweat, 25-19, 29-27, 23-25, 25-22, while BanKo-Perlas pulled off a come-from-behind 25-27, 22-25, 25-16, 25-19, 16-14 over the Grethcel Soltones-led Bali Pure Water Defenders.

The Premier Volleyball League will go on tour anew, visiting San Juan, Batangas on January 15, Bacolod City on January 17, then Iloilo City on January 18 as part of the league's thrust to reach out to its fans in the provinces.

There is a chance that Alyssa Valdez will play in Bacolod City, while the possibility of her seeing action in Iloilo and her hometown of San Juan, Batangas is still in the works.

Valdez missed the game in Tuguegarao as she is currently in Taiwan.

"This is our way of reaching out to the fans of the PVL who have been supporting our league from the start," said Sports Vision's Ricky Palou.

The PVL on Tour was staged in partnership with Grip Athletic Sports, a group founded by Charo Soriano and Valdez. Soriano, also a former Ateneo star, is also one of the founders of the Beach Volleyball Republic.
