Barangay Ginebra's hand-painted collectible figures are such a big hit among die-hard fans of the basketball team that the "Bring Home the Kings" promo has been extended until October 15.

Ginebra San Miguel Inc. (GSMI) released in July collectible figures of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel stars LA Tenorio, Mark Caguioa, JayJay Helterbrand, and the Gin Kings' twin towers Greg Slaughter and Japeth Aguilar.

The promo was supposed to end September 15, but GSMI extended the promotion because of a huge demand from die-hard Ginebra fans.

“We are extending the redemption of ‘Bring Home the Kings’ promo to give fans the chance to complete the set,” said Ginebra San Miguel brand manager Paolo Tupaz.

“This is the first time in Philippine basketball history that we launched collectible figures of the PBA players, particularly of the Barangay Ginebra players. Barangay Ginebra San Miguel is one of the most beloved basketball teams in the PBA which has inspired Filipinos with their never-say-die spirit. Through the collectibles, fans can now own an important part of the team’s history.”

Barangay Ginebra fans got the chance to meet up close and personal Helterbrand, Aguilar, Tenorio, Caguioa, and Slaughter at an event held at the PBA Cafe in Pasig City.

They also had the chance to have their collectible figures signed by the players.
