PBA: Craig out, Rice in as TNT's import

MANILA, Philippines – TNT KaTropa has replaced import Michael Craig with Glen Rice Jr., the PBA announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Rice, the son of former NBA star Glen Rice, was measured at 6-foot-4.

TNT had a 2-1 win-loss record in the 2017 PBA Governors' Cup with Craig as their reinforcement. The burly import averaged 21.67 points, 16.67 rebounds, and 6.67 assists in three games with the KaTropa.

He had a triple-double of 21 points, 13 rebounds, and 12 assists in his first game, a 106-96 win by TNT over KIA.

Rice was the 35th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Rookie Draft, selected by the Philadelphia 76ers. He played for the Washington Wizards until January 2015, when he was waived by the team.
