MANILA, Philippines – Australia's Tim Reed completed a "three-peat" in the Cobra Ironman 70.3 Philippines in Cebu after pulling away from the field in the men's elite division on Sunday.

The Aussie star completed the course at the Shangri-La Mactan in 3:54:07, holding off young Mexican Mauricio Mendez, who settled for second place with a time of 3:56:46.

Ryan Fisher took bronze with a time of 4:00:20, some six minutes and 14 seconds after Reed first crossed the finish line.

Meanwhile, Amelia Watkinson dominated the women's elite division, completing the course in 4:29:17.

Watkinson was a full six minutes and 37 seconds ahead of Jacqueline Thistleton, who crossed the finish line in 4:35:53. Kerry Morris was third with a time of 4:39:11.
